The Origins
The story of Mon Petit Poids has been built up over the years, through encounters and ideas from Brittany. While the genesis of our company began with the Objet Précieux Mon Petit Poids, a unique, made-to-measure, high-end object that represents the weight of a baby's birth weight, the adventure didn't stop there. We have successively developed our collections to offer even more emotions to those who wear our jewelry. Personalized jewelry collections such as necklaces with the iconic petit poids, sautoirs, pendants and our signature Émotion jewel.

Our jewelry is also the focal point of our values, our vision and our commitments. And if there's one commitment we've always insisted on respecting, it's French manufacturing. Each Mon Petit Poids jewel is a handmade French jewel that has been thought out, designed and conceived in France, by craftsmen in workshops between Brittany, Doubs and Haute-Savoie.

7 years ago, we initiated 'Gold Fridays' where we are donating all profits over two days to support organizations aiding families and children. To date, these contributions total over 58,000€ and have benefited dozens of charities in Europe.

Our Journey
It's the beginning.
To honor the birth of the first baby in our little family, I sought to give my sister an object she could never part with, an object she could pass on to her daughter, a symbolic, timeless, eternal object... The Precious Object was born!
The Petit Poids is the DNA of our eponymous brand: it's a unique, made-to-measure, top-of-the-range, personalized object that represents a child's birth weight. Meticulously crafted in France, between Brittany and Paris by skilled artisans, our exceptional Petits Poids are one-of-a-kind pieces.
The Precious Object has won over the press (Vogue & Vanity Fair are featuring us) and numerous customers in France and around the world: "It's simply indescribable... It's the most beautiful gift we've ever received. In fact, it's the only birth gift he'll have growing up." A.
After unveiling them in September 2016 at the Maison et Objet trade show in Paris, we're selling our first personalized jewelry just a few weeks before Christmas. What a joy to discover the craze around our "jewel symbol". Of course, our little weight is still made and personalized in France - Brittany and Haute Savoie. Gradually, we developed a collection of jewelry: necklaces, long necklaces, pendants, cufflinks, bracelets and so much more...

Working hand in hand with our partners, craftsmen, engravers... is essential. Now that all these elements have come together, we are delighted to announce the birth of our 18-carat gold jewel, christened "Émotion".
